We still need sponsors for 7 children, including this little boy named Julio César. César is one of our newest Casita Copán kids and he has quickly become a part of the family. Before coming to the children’s center, he used to spend most of his days on the street, waiting for his mom to finish working and asking tourists for money. The second youngest of a family of 6 kids, César is silly, mischievous, and absolutely lovable! You can sponsor César or another one or our Casita Copán kids for $60 a month – that’s just $2 a day!
This is a unique sponsorship opportunity because we are providing daily services to our children – 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our direct services include nutritional food, vitamins, medical care, loving staff, tutoring and homework help, educational and character-building activities, a safe and clean environment, field trips and outings, and so much more. All of this – every day! We are also committed to providing fair wages to our local staff so that our kids are getting the best possible care.
If $60 is too much, don’t worry. You can co-sponsor a child for just $30 a month ($1 a day!). When you choose to sponsor, we will match you with a special child, send you information and pictures about your child, and send you regular updates. You can communicate via email or snail mail with your child regularly (we can translate for you!), send gifts for special occasions, and maybe even visit someday!
